The work with the album continues…
This weekend is focused on design, we’ll finish the albumcover, work with merchandise and try to make a new backdrop. The website is also a work in progress and it is a lot to do but it is also a lot of fun.
What you see at the top
is Mammuths first symbolic logotype. It will be a part of a lot of the artwork and we kind of like it a lot! Hopefully you will soon think of mammuth when you see this symbol.
Finally we have good news about our Tshirts
we have now placed an order for new tshirts and we are very glad to inform that we’ll have shirts made of fairtrade and “organic in conversion” cotton. This means (in short) that the producers of the cotton gets well paid for his or her work. Organic in conversion means that the production is organic but haven’t recived the official certification yet. The factory that makes the tshirt is also monitored but the fairtrademarking doesn’t include that type of production yet. Hopefully it will be soon! Read more about fairtrad Here and Här
For us it means that the shirts are getting more expensive, but since our new album is a lot about the unjustice in the world it is important for us to do what we can to help out, not only to talk about it.
I hope you will support us and the workers in India by buying our tshirt even if it cost you a few dollars more!
